Lazy Lab Zinfandel California 2017
United States
$30.00
($20.00 MEMBER)
Beautifully balanced, densely flavored, with layer upon layer of complexity.
Description

The Lodi region of California is located inland, northeast of San Francisco. It is considered the "home" of the Zinfandel varietal, cultivated by Italian immigrants (like the famous Mondavi family) who settled there in the early part of the 20th Century. We call Zinfandel "America's wine because it is grown almost nowhere else in the world.

Our selection is a glistening medium ruby color in the glass with savory aromas of ripe candied fruit. The flavors are somewhat reserved on the palate, but rich and balanced, with just a hint of herbs. You may detect notes of baked raspberry and blackberry, smooth and round on the palate with persistent flavors that last all the way through the refined finish.

SAVORY PORK ROAST

Big wines go best with big flavors and rich meats. The concentrated flavors of Zinfandel will stand up perfectly to a pork roast baked with rosemary, garlic salt, thyme, and pepper.
